Take ALetter Maria came into our rescue program on October 24, 2020. Take ALetter Maria came into our rescue program as an owner surrender due to an injury on the race track. Take ALetter Maria is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Mare. Take ALetter Maria is registered through the Jockey Club. Take ALetter Maria was foaled on February 28, 2016, she is 7 years of age. Take ALetter Maria was injured during her last race with a suspensory tear. She has been on stall rest so that she can heal properly. Take ALetter Mara is a sweet girl and loves attention. This girl has a lot of energy and spunk. Once she heals, she is going to make someone a great horse. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Take ALetter Maria has a long road of recovery. Update May 2023 Take ALetter Maria has sadly returned to our rescue program due to no fault of her own. Take ALetter Maria is a super sweet girl and loves attention. Her suspensory tear injury has healed and she has not shown any complications. Take ALetter Maria is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. We do recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area as she has not been routinely ridden. Last year, she spent some time with Trainer Aaron Dickinson and did great. We do recommend an Intermediate to experienced rider. Take ALetter Maria stands at 15.2 hands tall. Take ALetter Maria stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Take ALetter Maria has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance.
